Guides & Documentation
What you need to know, when you need it.
From installation steps for getting started with BelugaLab products to detailed instructions for each feature.
We point you to the right material for your purpose, including the official Wiki, READMEs and changelogs.
Point of view
Documentation should be part of the experience.
Time spent looking up how to use something is part of usability too.
When using a new feature, your work can come to a halt because you cannot work out how to operate it.
At BelugaLab, we believe that being able to find the explanation you need easily is also an important part of what makes a product easy to use.
With features such as moving from on-screen hints to the detailed Wiki, and explanations using the actual screens, we aim for documentation you can understand while using the product.
Getting Started
For first-time users.
For how to install a mod, its required dependency mods and basic controls, please see each product's README or official distribution page.
Choose the file that matches your Minecraft version and mod loader, and install it together with the required dependency mods.
Wiki & Guides
Look up how to use each feature.
The official Wiki covers each product's features and controls in detail.
Explanations with screen images and 3D models are also provided, so you can check operations that are hard to grasp from text alone.
In supported products such as Train System Utilities, you can also open the Wiki from inside Minecraft.
You can check the hints on screen and jump to the related explanation with the F1 key, so you can look up how to use something without interrupting your work.
Release Notes
Check what has been updated.
Each product's changelog shows new features, bug fixes, behavior changes and more.
Checking the changes before upgrading lets you understand any settings you need and the supported environments.
