Development Projects

Every improvement carries into the next product.

BelugaLab develops a range of software centered on Minecraft mods, including a UI engine and online services.

Although each product has its own purpose, we develop them all with a shared philosophy of prioritizing ease of use.

Point of view

Build once. Improve together.

Growing a shared foundation, not just adding products.

What matters to BelugaLab is not only adding new products and features.

We place importance on carrying the systems built for one product, and the knowledge gained through improvements, over to other products.

We organize the parts that can be shared, such as screen rendering, input handling, animation and behavior verification, so that they can be reused.

By building up work like this, we aim to raise the overall quality while reducing the development burden of each product.

Connected Development

Connecting different products through shared systems.

Even when products differ, sharing on-screen controls and design thinking lets us offer a consistent experience to the people who use them.

And by improving a shared system, that improvement can benefit multiple products.

At BelugaLab, rather than only developing products individually, we are working to unify the technology and design that support the whole.

New Initiatives

Taking on new products and technologies too.

In addition to the products we currently offer, BelugaLab is also developing new software.

We are pursuing initiatives that lead to future products, such as Iruka Connect, which connects the work from design to output, and building out our online sharing services.

New technologies and features are developed while checking how they actually behave, and will be announced once there is something we can share.

Our Goal

The Workflow Redefined.

What BelugaLab aims for is not simply adding new tools.

It is rethinking work that used to take multiple steps, and organizing information and operations so that goals can be achieved more naturally.

From small improvements in ease of use to the development of new systems.

We rethink the flow of work and give shape to better experiences.
