Advanced Schematic Cannon Changelog

Changes in each published version. Before installing or updating, please check the supported environment and notes.

Entries for older versions describe the behaviour at the time of release. For current usage, see the Wiki.

Fixed a mining speed issue and the item display of the Enhanced Schematic Cannon.

  • Fixed pickaxe mining speed not being determined correctly in environments without ProjectE (PR #4, by nekorobi-0). Conditional block registration is now supported, so referencing a block that does not exist no longer breaks the entire mining tag.
  • Fixed the EMC-type texture being shown when holding the Enhanced Schematic Cannon.
  • Made the version shown in the in-game mod list consistent and updated the README layout.

In this version the mod ID changed from emcschematicannon (EMC Schematic Cannon) to advancedschematicannon (Advanced Schematic Cannon).

Changed the name and mod ID, and improved multiplayer and AE2 integration.

  • Renamed the mod to Advanced Schematic Cannon and changed the mod ID to advancedschematicannon. The previous ID was emcschematicannon. ProjectE is now an optional integration.
  • Fixed the EMC Usage button not being shown. Missing blocks are now shown with both their icon and name.
  • Added a dedicated screen background and barrel texture for the Enhanced Schematic Cannon.
  • Fixed the owner changing just because another player opened the screen, and strengthened validation of operation permissions and network data.
  • Fixed multiple cannons connected to the same ME network interfering with each other's autocrafting requests. Also reworked the request retry interval, concurrent processing and the cleanup of unfinished requests.
  • Fixed click detection around the tabs, the speed slider's networking, and settings reverting while being edited.
  • Improved the fuel consumption conditions and the initialization of the screen display.
  • Added a cap on scanning large removal areas, and reworked power handling and the dependency declarations. The required Create version is 6.0 or later.
  • Changed the author credit to BelugaLab.

Redesigned the screens with the second-generation GUI.

  • Changed the buttons, the power gauge and the progress display to a new design.
  • Added Settings, Speed and Information panels. Settings and Speed open one at a time, while Information opens and closes independently.
  • You can configure the replace mode, skipping missing blocks, and block entity protection.
  • Build speed can be adjusted from 1 to 256 blocks/tick, by dragging or with the mouse wheel.
  • Added buttons that toggle EMC usage, schematic reuse and the material source. Without an AE2 connection, chests are used.
  • The list of required blocks can be scrolled and shows each block's name, count and EMC availability.
  • Reorganized the status, progress, remaining count and missing block displays, and the layout of each slot.
  • Extended settings sync and network data, and added textures for the screen.

In this version, the schematic/filler mode toggle is a display in preparation for a future implementation.

Fixed materials not being retrieved from AE2 in multiplayer.

  • Reworked how the ME network's state is determined, and added a search for the connection through adjacent AE2 devices.
  • If the initial connection fails, it is now retried every second, up to 10 times.
  • AE2 cables can now connect from all sides.
  • Fixed the version not being shown correctly in the in-game mod information.
  • The state at the time a material retrieval fails is now easier to check in the server log.

The first release, published as EMC Schematic Cannon.

Combined Create's Schematicannon with FE power and ProjectE's EMC. You can configure starting and stopping construction, speed, replace mode, material source, schematic reuse and more.

This version supports Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge 21.1 or later and requires Create and ProjectE. The name and ID change, and making ProjectE optional, were done in 1.1.2.

The release notes at the time of publication were only a short announcement, so this description includes details confirmed from the declarations in the published files and from the translation data.
